Outpost for Contemporary Art has announced the death of Ronald Lopez, who served until recently as its Executive Director.
Lopez, born in 1974, 
was an artist and curator of international stature. When he came on board at the Highland Park-based Outpost for Contemporary Art, Board President Tom McKenzie wrote that Ronald “brought a unique and powerful mix of artistic sensibility, programming chops, international experience and innovative marketing ideas.”
A memorial service planned by his family will be held on Saturday February 4th, 11 a.m.
